Our Executive Director
Rev. Meredith Moise, or as many call her "Mother Meredith" is the Executive Director of Christian Youth Centers of America.
Meredith is a oft sought after speaker and lecturer, and currently is a regular columnist for the Baltimore Examiner, and the Baltimore OutLoud papers.
Rev. Moise is an
ordained Catholic Priest in the North American Old Catholic Church.

The Christian Youth Centers of America is a non-profit organization that works to establish centers for at-risk youth in our most impoverished cities. Our first center, located in Baltimore Maryland is slated to open in the summer of 2009.
Embracing the Christian ethic to love, care, and nurture one another, we reach out to those children that are considered "already lost causes" in the hopes that we can show them a better way.
Our mission is about survival of that next great generation- not about Christian conversion. All are welcome to participate in our programs, and access to our services without consideration of their spiritual health or religious beliefs.
The youth of of our inner-cities are in crisis. They suffer from HIV, drug addiction, physical, emotional, sexual abuse, and gang involvement. It needs to be stopped, and it needs to be stopped now.
Our services include rapid HIV testing, HPV vacinations, safe-sex education, positive expression outlets that include art, music, dance, and graffiti spaces, study spaces, computer labs, tutoring, GED and high school diploma programs, and vocational opportunities.
About us
Christian Youth Centers of America is a ministry of the
North American Old Catholic
Church. The church, while rooted in catholic history, split from the
traditional catholic church 140 years ago, and focuses its ministries
primarily on those in our society that are "on the fringe" and discarded
by the traditional church and the larger society.
